Surf and Kitesurf

Tenerife is the perfect place for surfing all year round offering waves and all year round sun. The island has several spots to fully enjoy surfing as well as waves and wind to fly over the water with kitesurfing.

Playa de las Américas is an excellent place for surfing and you can begin with the help of instructors from different schools. As well as beginners, it is also a well-known place for advanced surfers. In addition, El Médano is also a well-known place for practicing kitesurf. Tenerife caters for all levels of experience.

Canyoning

Tenerife is a perfect place for canyoning. This activity allows you to get to know the island in a different way and delve into landscapes not available to everyone.

As a result of Tenerife´s impressive volcanic geology, there are a large number of ravines that can be descended. Tenerife offers ravines with lower heights for beginners or for those who simply want to try a new experience. There are large walls over 100 meters for experienced participants.

Natural reserves

The Island of Tenerife has large protected areas such as Teide National Park, Anaga Rural Park, and the Barranco del Infierno Nature Reserve.

There are numerous natural enclaves declared as Assets of Cultural Interest that you can visit and explore in order to get to know the other parts of Tenerife a hidden beauty of the island. The lagoon

San Cristóbal de La Laguna is one of the 15 Spanish cities declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. It is located northwest of the island. La Laguna is the only example of an unwalled colonial city that preserves its original layout almost intact.

It has a historic centre with monuments, churches and typical Canarian buildings that you can visit. In addition, you can enjoy shops and restaurants located along its pedestrian streets.

The wine

Tenerife has five wine designations of origin . Different varieties of wines such as red, white and rosé that you can taste in the winemaking wineries that the island has.

The wines of the Canary Islands, and especially Tenerife, are highly recognized thanks to the flavors and aromas provided by the climate and the particular geology of the volcanic islands. Tenerife is leisure and fun.
